Maestro - Analog to Digital SPDIF Converter
- The iDatalink Maestro ACC-RR-SPDIF is an analog to digital (SPDIF) converter for the retention of a factory digital amplifier when replacing the factory radio with an aftermarket head unit.
- The ACC-RR-SPDIF converts the analog preouts of your aftermarket head unit to a digital audio signal (SPDIF) in order to retain your vehicle's factory amplifier.
- Installation requires the Maestro RR or RR2 interface module and a vehicle-specific T-harness (all sold separately).
- The ACC-RR-SPDIF features two dip switches for the input signal voltage and bit-rates for the SPDIF output:
- Input Level: Set the input level selection switch to match the preout voltage of your aftermarket head unit. Settings include 3V RMS (Low) or 5V RMS (High).
- Bit-Rate: Choose the appropriate bit-rate setting to match the factory amplifier input. This will be specified in the installation guide for a Maestro radio replacement solution. Settings include 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz.
